How Speech Clinics can Purchase Subscriptions and Manage Accounts for their SLPs

Our platform does not currently have administrator accounts as it was originally designed for individual teacher use. We do have the intent to create admin accounts in the future but that will not happen in the short term. In the meantime there are a few options for how you can manage subscriptions for your SLPs.

How SLP Accounts are Created and Subscriptions Assigned

SLPs create and manage their own accounts. When you purchase subscriptions, we send you a link that you will pass on to your SLPs. When they click the link, it adds subscriptions you purchased to their accounts. The subscription time starts when the link is clicked, so if you purchase more subscriptions than you need at that time, they do not expire and can be used in the future.

Alternatively, if you want to have control over the accounts, you could create the accounts for your SLPs and claim subscriptions while in each account. You could keep a spreadsheet of usernames and passwords so you can manage the accounts as you see fit.

Reassigning Subscriptions when an Employee Leaves

Subscriptions are not transferable, we do not have a method for you to move part of a subscription to another account. However, there is a work around for this. You can log in to the account that you want to remove the subscription from and instead of deleting that account, you can go to the My Account page and change the user name, email and password, effectively assigning the account to a new user.  This is the only method to continue to use a subscription that has not yet expired. You will have to either maintain list of accounts and their corresponding log in information, or instruct the employee who is leaving to give you that information before they leave the company.

Sharing Content Between SLPs

There is no way for your SLPs to share Saved Games or groups of games that they have created with other SLPs in your company if each SLP has they're own account. The only thing that can be shared are word lists and question sets that have been made public. Your other SLPs can then search for those questions by title if you share the title with them.

Alternatively, there is a way that content can be shared and some clinics use this solution. We typically do not allow accounts to be shared but will give permission to do this as long as you tell us that you intend to go this route. You can create one account and have all your SLPs log in and use that one account. You will still need to purchase a subscription license for each SLP that will access that account, so if you have 10 employees that will use the games for example, then you will need to purchase 10 Game Subscriptions.

Keep in mind that our accounts were not designed to be used by multiple SLPs so you will have to instruct your SLPs on how you want them to use the account and what they should and should not do in the account. An example of what you would not want them to do is go to the My Account page and change the log in information or password. An example of what you would want them to do is create groups to manage their saved games so that other SLPs can easily find that content and use it with their clients.

Purchasing Subscriptions and Discounts

We do not offer discounts for purchasing more than one subscription as our price is already discounted and we think it is very fair considering most SLPs use our platform every day.

Our pricing is in US dollars and we cannot currently offer pricing in any other currency.

Our subscriptions do not expire if unclaimed so it is best to purchase a few extra if you think that you will be adding employees in the near future.

To purchase subscriptions, please follow the instructions in this article:

Renewing Subscriptions

Renewing subscriptions is no different than buying them for the first time as explained above. If your SLP's subscriptions end at different times, you do not need to wait until they end. Please purchase a block of subscriptions to cover the renewal for all of your SLPs. They can be added to their accounts right away and the new subscriptions will automatically start after the current ones end.
