Why am I getting a licenses exceeded error when adding a TPT game or subscription?

When you are adding a TPT product to your account and you receive a 'licenses exceeded' error, there are a few possible reasons why you are getting this error:

1. The most common reason is that you have two accounts and have already added the product to the first account you created. A product can only be added to one account. The solution is to log in to the first account you created and play the game from there. If you don't remember which email address you used to create the account, follow the instructions in the article Forgotten Email Address or Password. If you need to combine the two accounts because you have games in both accounts, email us and we will combine them for you. Be sure to list the email addresses of the accounts that you think you used.

2. Another reason you will get this error is if someone else has already added the product. Products cannot be shared so only one teacher can add it to their account. If you think there has been a mistake, please email us and we will fix the issue.

3. If you are on a shared computer and didn't realize that you were logged in to someone else's games account then you may have already added the game to their account by accident. Email us and we will fix the issue.
