Choose a square and then answer a question to reveal a part of the hidden picture. Some of the pictures  such as the monsters and ocean animations have fun animations while others are simply photographs such as the baby animals and bugs.

This game works well for individual play, partners and as a whole class activity.

This game works with both multiple choice question sets and words lists. You can also turn off questions and ask them verbally, use the game as a reinforcer or simply allow students free play.

Fun Ways to Play

Whole Class

If you have an interactive whiteboard in your classroom, this game makes for a fun, whole class review session. First choose the skill that you would like to review from the Choose Questions page. Then project the game onto your whiteboard. Have students come up one at a time to choose a grid square, answer a question and then reveal part of the picture.

Centers

Assign this game to students and they will be able to play it independently on devices in centers. Students can play on their own or they can take turns in pairs. To learn how to set up games for centers, please read the article entitled How to Setup Games for Students to Access in Class.

Small Groups

At your group table, you could use a laptop or tablet to play the game collaboratively with your group. If you have an interactive whiteboard, playing the game on your board will be very engaging for your students.

Therapy & Interventions

This game is a great tool to help keep your students motivated and engaged during your therapy sessions or interventions. You can choose a target from our skills library or you can turn questions off and use the game as reinforcement as you ask questions verbally or as a reward.

Online Learning

Using your conferencing software such as Zoom for example, share your game screen and have students answer questions orally while you control the game. If you have a small group or single student, you could take turns and give students mouse control so that they can interact with the game.

  • Refine your choice of questions or words to meet the needs of your learners.
  • Set the number of squares on the grid from 1 to 100 squares.
  • Control the difficulty level by setting how the questions are displayed and interacted with in the game.
  • Set a game timer to help learners stop playing and transition to the next activity.
  • Play without questions so you can ask them verbally or use it as a reward.
